Safeguarding

Everything that happens within our school is guided by our values and ethos. We explicitly teach and support our children to SHINE as young people by encouraging TEAMWORK, focusing on ACHIEVEMENT, showing RESPECT to all and not be forgotton – wearing a SMILE, showing the joy of being a part of something great. Intrinsic to all of this is a responsibility to keep children safe from harm.

Safeguarding and child protection are embedded across the Brinsley Primary and Nursery School policies, procedures, and practices. All staff receive regular training and updates to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities. The school works in partnership with children, parents/carers, and external agencies to promote a culture of vigilance and proactive safeguarding.
